Elizabeth McGiff is a ceramicist and teacher in the Hudson Valley. She works with human and animal forms, bringing the two together through texture, pattern, and myth. Ever invested in play, Elizabeth employs several creative practices to bring to life what interests her---ranging from hand building to wheel throwing, raku firing to custom stamp creation.
She is a teaching artist with Anderson Center for Autism, and has been a member of Cohort.Arts since 2023. Before moving to the Hudson Valley, Elizabeth was the ceramics teacher and gallery curator at St. Andrew's School (DE) for over fifteen years. |
